Website maintenance cost per month/year | Packages pricing

My website maintenance services cost for site upkeep is a modest $1.05 per day/$32 per month and $385 per year for small business and/or personal sites. This affordable pricing covers web page repairs, malware removal, robust security, Google speed & performance boost and much more. I deliver my decades of experience and expertise in IT management and user support on your project. You get to work on growing your business instead of wasting time on backend issues.

Website maintenance packages

Annual WordPress management services plans (with or without hosting).

Repair, Page Speed & Site Security

Web site repairs, malware removal services, security audits and implementation of web firewall and brute force login protection. Google page speed optimisation to improve your core web vitals score for mobile and desktop.

Maintenance Packages

The monthly website maintenance costs depend on how much time your site will require to keep it ticking along. Maintenance costs vary depending on the level of service required, and that in turn varies by provider.

I usually work with small business websites with a single point of contact. Support requests are one-to-one, not one-to-many. The site maintenance package includes troubleshooting, scheduled backups, security monitoring, content updates, software updates and other website updates and tuning related to the hosting control panel etc.

Website Hosting

If you’re running an online business, web hosting is usually a choice between premium shared hosting or a virtual private server (VPS). Of course, hosting costs are dependent on the calibre of the hosting service.

A small business can thrive on premium shared hosting from companies such as A2Hosting, FastComet and Stablehost. A busy e-commerce site would need a high-end premium plan in conjunction with a Cloudflare account, or an expensive VPS. Domain names are easily pointed at your new location. Sure, you can save money by using cheap hosting. Don’t do it…

WordPress Security

Securing WordPress from the outset is important. Keeping a website secure is an ongoing process as the WordPress core, plugins and themes evolve over time. Implementing proactive steps to prevent unauthorized access is preferable to cleaning up after a successful security breach. Both a web application firewall (WAF) and brute force login attack protection are essential.

SSL certificates (secure sockets layer) are essential. Browsers check SSL certificate credentials and actively prevent visitors from accessing insecure sites. A robust security application like Wordfence, or a combination of Block Bad Queries and Limit Login Attempts is needed.

Website Design & SEO Services

Web design work is quoted separately as/if required. I can do WordPress theme replacements but this is usually a full website redesign and takes days of work to complete as it invariably involves user experience enhancements and WordPress performance improvements. I don’t recommend website builders like Elementor Pro due to the negative impact on page load speed.

Digital marketing and search engine optimisation services are available and I can recommend a good email marketing service. If your site needs help with local business schema data etc. I can do that too…

Affordable website maintenance services cost

When you need a competent and professional solution to your online problems, you can purchase an affordable web maintenance service option from the list above. The cost of website maintenance is modest and usually, we will have your issues sorted out overnight. You can be confident you’re dealing with a highly experienced WordPress expert. Be reassured by what our clients say…
